1800-Hour Curriculum

1. Theoretical Study – At Least 100 Hours Required

  • Structure of the Head, Face and Neck (Anatomy and Physiology)

  • Salesmanship, Advertising, Public Relations and Human Relations

  • Human Trafficking Education (1-Hour)

2. Scientific Barbering Practice – At Least 200 Hours Required

  • Facial Treatments (Rolling cream, Rest Facial, Packs, Bleach, Clay)
  • Shampoo Treatments (Plain Shampoo & Tonic, Hot Oil Shampoo)
  • Tinting
  • Bleaching
  • Facial Shaving
  • Haircutting I (Tapers); Haircutting II (Style/Trend Cuts); Haircutting III
  • (Styling)
  • Straightening and Relaxing
  • Permanent Waving
  • Hairpieces
  • Barber Implements

3. General Barber Practice – At Least 1200 Hours Required

  • Facial Treatments
  • Scalp Treatments
  • Shampoo Treatments
  • Tinting; Bleaching
  • Facial Shaving
  • Haircutting I (Tapers); Haircutting II (Style/Trend Cuts); Haircutting III
  • (Styling)
